GUEST POET
Dubbed "the wonky box of poets" by emcee Rhona Stace, Barbs is an emerging poet whose work has been featured in a diverse range of anthologies. She typically performs at Poetry Live! as one half of the "Leaky Shadows" duo featuring Dylan Storey. Barbs both writes poems attempting to sum up the fluctuations of the human experience and writes songs with the aim of shining a light on darker aspects of the human psyche. This is her first time as guest poet at Poetry Live!

Emma-Kate Newlove is known for her intimate, narrative-driven songwriting and her affiliation with the Parallel Layers collective.
